Machine output & electricity

Monthly output, rework and electricity use per machine. Pick a start and end month and every figure and graph is recalculated.

Loading data from Google Sheet…

Machine output (kg)

Net output per machine, stacked by month

Electricity used (kWh)

Machine consumption (bars) against the TNB bill reading (line)

Electricity per kg of product (kWh/kg)

Lower is better. Three ways of counting, same as the sheet's KW/KG charts.

kWh/kg by machine

Only months where the machine made at least 5,000 kg (idle months give meaningless ratios)

Rework (kg)

Total rework (bars) and rework as % of finished-goods output (line)

Where the electricity goes (kWh)

TNB bill = machines + other places (offices, utilities, etc.). Months without a TNB reading are left blank.

How the numbers are worked out
  • Finished goods = PET M1 + PET M2 + PP M1 net output (kg). Output + rework = finished goods + total rework.
  • kWh/kg (finished goods) = machine kWh ÷ finished goods kg. (FG + rework) = machine kWh ÷ (finished goods + rework) kg.
  • Incl. other places = TNB reading ÷ (finished goods + rework) kg. Other places = TNB reading − machine kWh.
  • Period figures are totals divided by totals (not an average of monthly ratios). The current calendar month is month-to-date, so it is left out of best / worst month and of the change-versus-previous comparison of totals.
  • Data comes from the DATA tab of the "PROD - Machine Output and Electricity Report" sheet.
